🎉 Women’s Day Sale Festival – Celebrating Women in Games with SUPER 56 & Nippon Marathon! 🎮

Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to be part of Wing’s Annual Women’s Day Sale Festival! 🎉

If you don’t know us yet, Onion Soup Interactive is a husband-and-wife indie studio (and dog!), working together to create games packed with heart, humour, and wonderfully weird chaos (the fun kind, we promise! 😆).

Events like this are so important because they celebrate women and gender-marginalized devs, showcasing just how diverse the gaming industry truly is. Smaller, diverse teams like ours bring fresh perspectives and stories you won’t find in AAA games, and we’re proud to be part of that!

Both Nippon Marathon and SUPER 56 are featured in the festival, so in true Onion Soup style, we wanted to celebrate in our own weird way.

If you seek Amy* (in SUPER 56) 👀

Here’s a fun challenge—Amy is featured in some of the SUPER 56 mini-games! We've given you these as a starting point, but can you track down every one?

(*Bonus points if you spotted the Britney Spears pun!)

📸 Think you found her? Take a screenshot and post it in the Community Steam Page—we’d love to see who finds her first! 😆

Who Runs the Nippon Marathon? Girls!

Since this event is all about celebrating women in games, let’s shine a spotlight on some of the incredible female characters in Nippon Marathon and share some of our favourite moments from the infamous story mode:

Four colorful characters in a park: one in yellow taking notes, another in pink posing, one in green observing, and one exhausted on the ground.
🐋 Elizabeth Nishibori – Narwhal Yoga
Anime-style character with green hair in blue attire speaks, asking about a post. A crowd stands in the background. Text: "WEDY JONES" and dialogue.
📺 Wedy Jones – Asking the important questions
Purple-haired character operates a camera in a modern studio with wooden floors. A figure stands at an NNBC news desk. Bright, lively scene.
🎥 Sara & Zara – Twin camerawomen obsessed with Handsome Hazuki, totally unable to contain their excitement
Two people in costumes stand in a dimly lit, purple-hued room with grand staircases. The room has a regal carpet and ornate columns.
🕶 Shiro Hideko – Going Full Terminator Mode
Referee in a black-pink striped shirt writes on a clipboard on a track field. Athletes in the background; trees and cityscape visible. Text: "Occupation?"
📢 Referee Powell – Providing some home truths we all need to hear

What’s your favourite female character moment in Nippon Marathon? Share a screenshot on the Steam Community Page!
