*Edited: 20/12/19 - addition of Steam Sale was added*

Hello and welcome to our new site, it's great to have you here and I hope you like the new look. More importantly the site redesign marks the beginning of a new era for us, we're going to be sharing tons of info going forwards including a regular dev blog and sneak peeks at upcoming projects.

Here's what we have planned for December and January:

Nippon Marathon - Post Mortem

I guess post mortem really gives out the wrong message as the game is truly still alive and kicking. It's almost one year since Nippon Marathon was released on Steam, PS4, Switch and XBOX ONE. It's crazy to think that Amy and I left our jobs to pursue the life of game devs yet here we are, we survived!

In this article we're going to be chronicling everything from the development process, successes, failures, sales expectations and realities, it will be the whole shebang!

Director's Commentary

Who knows how this will pan out, but Amy and I will play Nippon Marathon and casually chat about the content and development.

The Future of Nippon Marathon

What's next for J DARWIN et al? Will a sequel ever see the light of day? Why isn't there any DLC? This article should answer these questions.

Freezeframe

A fun article diving into the practical application of giving your players a momentary break in play and why it's a good idea to make it unique and memorable, we'll also count down our favourite community screenshots too.

Let's Give It A Try!

There's tons more content planned for 2020, we'll be giving you behind the scenes access to the modeling and development techniques and design processes of our new title and we'll be keeping you up to date on Nippon Marathon Turbo Hyper = Running. There's sure to be more surprises along the way too.

We really think you're going to enjoy our content and the best way to keep informed is to join our Discord community, there's plenty of friendly awesome gamers in there chatting about Nippon, speculating on our new title and generally celebrating our big ol' gaming culture.

And with that, I'm outta here!

New Game Announcement and Teaser Trailer

We've been super busy working on our new game. It's a big, bold and ambitious project and it's progressing nicely. As Shaggy so poetically said: "Tease me, tease me, tease me, tease me baby. 'Til I lose control." So here's a little something to whet your appetite:

We plan to release the name of our new game along with a teaser trailer in January so please stay tuned, you won't want to miss it.

Speculation

Who is the character in the picture? What genre is this game? Is that corner-shop a Family Mart or a Daily Yamazake? You'll be glad to know that others are speculating about those very things in our Discord Community, so please don't hesitate to join in the conversation.

That's all for now, take it easy!

- Andy
