Description

Imagine running a marathon in a lobster onesie, dodging exploding melons, ravenous Shiba Inu dogs, and bizarre TV game show antics. That’s Nippon Marathon 2: Daijoubu!

But what does “Daijoubu” mean? It’s a popular Japanese phrase meaning “It’s okay,” “I’m fine,” or “Everything’s under control!”—exactly what you’ll be shouting (or hoping) as you navigate Nippon Marathon 2: Daijoubu’s outrageous courses packed with unexpected surprises.

With ragdoll physics that defy logic, a cast of eccentric characters, and courses bursting with absurd hazards, just about anything can happen—and it probably will.

Nippon Marathon 2: Daijoubu launches into Early Access in Q2 2025, bringing even more hilarity and chaos to your screens.

Features

  • Hilarious New Stages: Dash through ramen museums, bamboo forests, and traditional towns in physics-driven races where anything can happen - and probably will.

  • Create-A-Contestant (NEW):  Let your imagination run wild as you build your dream racer.

  • Popularity (UPDATED): Wave to fans to earn crowd points to boost your score. It’s not just about speed - it’s about style.

  • Photo Mode (NEW): Freeze the chaos and capture your most ridiculous moments. Perfect for memes, thumbnails, and bragging rights.

  • Strike A Pose (NEW): You're on the finish podium so why not strike a pose? Each contestant has a unique set of poses you can flex whilst receiving the award for Smelliest Contestant.

  • Fruity Weapons & Wacky Hazards: Sabotage rivals with exploding melons, slippery bananas, and the devastating Whirling Cucumber. Watch out for forklifts, balloon men, and surprise Shiba Inu attacks!

  • Multiplayer Mayhem or Solo Glory: Compete locally or via Remote Play Together, or face off against CPU rivals in solo mode.

  • Epic Soundtrack: Stay hyped with an electrifying soundtrack that matches the game’s high-energy madness.

  • Development Plans During Early Access: Expect fresh features to be added throughout development, including new contestants (like the egg-haired man, Mister BREAKFAST who desperately wants to replace all meals with breakfast food), brand-new marathons, casual and ranked online modes, and a fully-fledged single-player campaign.
