SUPER 56 Demo available now on Steam

Indie developer Onion Soup Interactive is excited to announce that SUPER 56 will be available via Steam Early Access 20th February 2023. Players will take on 56 retro fuelled mini-games, complete daily challenges and destroy hi-scores whilst traveling through the different genres of gaming.

While on a cultural exchange program, you'll be staying with monsters KRONOS and BRONES, who saved up their meager wages to buy the ultra rare retro game SUPER 56, the only thing is, they suck at gaming, and need your skills! Help them reach S rank before their SUPER annoying neighbour does, otherwise they will lose a bet and things will get SUPER nasty!

Unlockable Mod Stones act as buffs/debuffs which make each run through different, some Mod Stones add extra lives, others affect the combo multiplier or the game speed. A career screen tracks players’ high scores, medals and achievement progress for each stage and the leaderboard shows how well the player has done compared to the whole world or their Steam friends.

Coins are littered throughout the stages which can be used to purchase customisation items, hints on unlocking obscure achievements, and retro styled "instruction manual style pages" for each stage. XP progression adds a further dynamic to the game which comes with its own set of unlockable rewards.
